These socks are my all-time favorite socks. I have always loved alpaca socks as they are definitely a step up from wool.  What makes these socks special is the Alpacor fiber and the specific designs that have a great fit and finish. I work for the company that sells them online and they are my all-time favorite socks they have ever offered.

Alpaca socks have been known for years to be the warmest socks around, however they often had some drawbacks. The fiber is much slicker and thinner than wool so durability was a problem. Also, if the socks had over 50% alpaca and you threw them in the wash or dryer, they would 'Felt' and become little mini socks.

These Alpaca Direct Winter socks are made with the patented Alpacor fiber. This fiber goes through an 18 step manufacturing process to wrap the alpaca around a strong tencel core. The result is you get the benefits of warmth and comfort of alpaca touching your feet while getting the strength of a tencel core in the center.

I live in north Idaho and it's getting cold here in November. I wear my socks every day and my feet are warm.  What is interesting is I wore the alpaca quarter socks this summer while trekking around Africa in the heat and my feet were still comfortable.

When I open my sock drawer each morning I always reach for my alpaca socks from Alpaca Direct.
