Chill Out Heat Relief

Purchased on a whim, curious of what could be special about a heat-related first aid kit. I really purchased more for the cool carrying case. Has all you would need to treat heat-related issues. Think it could have had a good first aid card on how to identify heat-related issues, something that if you had no idea about (which may be why someone would purchase this item) would seem like it should be included.

  • Contains all items needed to treat heat injuries.
  • Nice pockets on carry case

  • Heavy
  • Larger than needed for one person
  • No emergency card for how to treat heat injuries.

The outside of the kit

The kit folds out and contains compartments for all the items needed to treat heat issues.

Instructions on outside cardboard that would be instantly thrown away. Plus, maybe not good to leave in a car where temperatures are not within recommended ranges.
Also expiration dates listed on contents, but also on cardboard exterior. This product needs some rethink…

I haven’t needed to use it. I think it is a great concept for large groups that maybe need this extra comfort level when camping, but really a well stocked first aid kit would be better. It does have the water pouches that I will most likely take out and throw in my backpack for extras. I will most likely break down and only use the carrier.

Don’t waste your money on this.
