I really didn't know what category this wrist watch fitness device would be considered under. But, here goes.

I got this model Polar Fitness/ Heart Rate/ Cycling monitor watch several years past. I originally purchased this to monitor all the fitness levels concerning my outdoor activities and improving my heart rate and breathing. I have extensively utilized this monitor for on and off road cycling, trail running, asphalt running, water sports, swimming, short distance adventure hikes, any many more.

It was very useful for speed, heart rate, distance, averages, time for distance and exertion with calories expended. It could be used as a time piece, odometer on the bike(s), or anything else athletic.

The only issues I had with this were that the Heart rate strap wore out very quickly and had to be replaced twice and when you were close to objects that radiated wavelengths close to the frequency of the wearlink and wristwatch it would be garbled and canceled out.

Otherwise, this is an excellent purchase for multi-outdoor activities specifically geared for biking/ mountain biking.
