Barefoot Company Free Your Feet (Classic Swiss)

Definitely a scam...just normal uncomfortable socks. Definitely a scam. Bought them on supersockcompany.com They are not Swiss, but Chinese. Supersock has terrible customer care. Don't buy because that have "satisfaction guaranteed". They won't answer and won't give money back. They are not durable or tough...just normal uncomfortable socks. Don't trust supersockcompany. Smartwool Merino Sport 150 Brief

Super comfortable undies, which will help you stay sweet smelling for days, with no chafing. Yeah, I'm reviewing underwear. Being a big Merino fan, I decided it was time to take the final step towards full commitment, by going right down to the basics. I decided to give these a try.   Fit: The overall fit is good. I'd read a couple of reviews criticizing the extra wide waistband, but in my opinion, it makes them much more stable and keeps them in place better than other briefs I've used. I like… Full review

Stoked Goods Stoke Lip & Face Balm

A really good option to avoid or deal with chapped lips and face. I like that it's a particularly fat lip balm. Bonus for putting in a paper (can be recycled) container. A bit pricy, and no sunblock. A very good lip balm (fine for face too) for cold, nasty weather that can chap and dry you out.  Five ingredients: cocoa butter, shea butter, cocoanut oil, beeswax, and vitamin E. The manufacturer says it's all organic, if you care. It has a fairly thick consistency but still smears on nicely. It smells… Full review

Salomon Men's Sense Pro 2

These are a lightweight, low profile trail shoe. I have been using them for backpacking (as a guide, and recreationally) on well-maintained, rocky, gravelly, and moderately muddy tracks in Tasmania and Nepal. They lack the cushion needed for heavier packweights (15+kgs) over long or hard trails, but are comfortable at lighter weights or shorter days. The Salomon Sense Pro 2's are a light and low-profile trail runner that makes a good backpacking shoe for lightweight packs and/or shorter distances. Full review

Altra Men's Superior 4.0

Every day and twice on Sunday. Hands down the most comfortable running shoe I've ever worn. You won't be disappointed. The large toe box is different from most brands, but I'm sold. Full review

NiteCore NU20

From a brief experience it appears to be as advertised—super light, rugged, and of good quality. It functions effectively. INITIAL IMPRESSION NITECORE NU 20 ULTRALIGHT HEADLAMP This is a brief initial impression of the Nitecore NU 20, as the light arrived just as I was heading out for a night hike. I found the bracket “tab” that covers the switch to be pretty ingenious. The joint between the light and bracket is firm and will maintain the angle set. It's not going to change accidentally.
