I have a 2 year old Alpha. If they have fixed the zippers where they can be operated inside the tent, then this is a definite 5 star.

I carried this tent up Mt. Rainier to High Camp and stayed in it on the glacier and also at low camp with rain, and 80 degree temps down low and then below freezing with snow on the Glacier. This tent was light enough for me to carry by myself with a full pack weight and small enough pack size, as well as being vented when it needed to be and warm when it needed to be.

I loved the windows and the large vestibule as well as two door ventilation. The fly covered well and it had enough room even in the narrow side to fit 3 grown men's shoulders when we found that the tent was not quite level and rather than turn it around after snow walling and dead manning, We turned around instead. Really tight walls too, during 40-50 MPH winds.

Great tent if they have fixed the zippers.
