Solstice Breckenridge Parka

rated 4.5 of 5 stars

Solstice is no longer in business, and the Breckenridge Parka has been discontinued. If you're looking for something new, check out the best waterproof jackets for 2024.

This jacket is incredible! It has a double zipper for add in fleece jackets and vests. It has plenty of pockets inside and out. The hood is removable which is nice, so you don't have to have it bouncing around when you're skiing on a nice day. I owned a North Face Mountain Light jacket which cost me 350$. When I bought the Breckenridge It was just as good if not better and was 150$ cheaper. I also own other stuff from this company and it is also incredible. I would highly recommend this jacket to anyone.

I just bought my shell and am impressed by its warmth and wind protection. I added a Columbia fleece insert to it from an old jacket and it fits but is a little long. I think I would have appreciated a fleece lined collar and warmer pockets, but all in all the jacket cuts the wind and, so far, sheds the water.
