E2D LED Defender

rated 2 of 5 stars I bought this light about 3 years ago. It is a solid flashlight, but it has some major flaws that outweigh any of the good. For starters the batteries go dead way too fast on it. It seems like I just put new ones in and use it for a few min here and there and they go dead. The batteries are hard to find in Canada. When you are in the bush and don't have access to a store it can be a very frustrating finding batteries, since you just payed all that money for the light, and can't even use it. Also… Full review

LX2 LumaMax

rated 3.5 of 5 stars Great light, weakest pocket clip ever! Very bright, long throw, and good LED tint. The light itself is tough. Pocket clip breaks with this light getting any side pressure at all in the pocket. Upside is SureFire will send you replacement clips! Full review

rated 4 of 5 stars Great work light, not sure I will take it backpacking anymore. Have used and owned several SureFire lights. This is a great headlight to mount to a hard hat or if you're going to use it hard and can carry a lot of extra CR123's.  Full review

The temperature of the light is spot on. While you will not find any flashlight made completely in America, Surefire does assemble and manufacture certain components in the US, which I like. The only complaint… Full review

rated 5 of 5 stars I have three of these — one is mounted on my fire helmet, one on my Swift Water Rescue Helmet, and the other is always in my backpack. The one on the fire helmet takes the most physical abuse and has been beat up, put away wet, been in some extreme heat, and it keeps right on working. The one on my water helmet also takes a beating and has been "water boarded" more times than I can count. I'm not sure what the waterproof rating on this light is but its the only one I've used in this application… Full review
