Super pillow, packs down small, and great for those who like to sleep with a larger pillow.

Pros

  • Comfortable
  • Easy to inflate
  • Quick to adjust

Cons

  • Not the smallest backpacking pillow

This is a great little camping pillow. It has a foam core and a self inflating feature. If you are like me and sleep at home with multiple pillows, then this is the camping pillow for you.

I have tried many different types of camp pillows from simple compressible filled pillows to more complicated inflatable ones. They all have had the same issue, they are meant to be small and compact and as such they do not support my head.

I am a side sleeper and want something to keep my head level. All those other pillows did not work. So I would resort to using more than one camp pillow or ball up my jacket or clothing, but still I never was quite comfortable.

Until I found this pillow from Teton Sports. At 18 x 10 x 4 inches it is on the larger size and as such does not pack down as small as the other pillows I've used. BUT it is well worth the extra space!

It comes with its own stuff sack and compacts down fairly well. I find that when packing it up I open the valve and roll up the pillow. Once I have rolled it up completely I close the valve and then stretch it out again and re-roll it. When I get to the end I open the valve and let any remaining air out. That way I can be sure that I've gotten it as small as possible.

The outer covering of the pillow is two types of material. The top layer is an 'orange' microfiber cover which is fairly comfortable. It did get wet or too cold while I laid on it at night. The other side is billed as a non-slip material. I think it did a good job of keeping the pillow where I wanted it. With some others I would wake up in the night looking for the pillow as it slipped out from under me, but this one stayed put.

I liked this pillow so much I have gone out and bought three more, one for each of the family.

I think this is pretty great. One problem I had was that it was losing air, but they helped me by sending a new one.

Pros

  • Lightweight
  • Easy to compact

Cons

  • Has a chance to lose air

It was amazing. I loved it a lot and I was so happy when they sent me a new one.
