Very comfortable shoe for camp use, water use, or everyday use.

Pros

  • Comfort

Cons

  • Lace tightening clip

I bought these shoes about 2 years ago at Academy.

I originally bought these to use while swimming in rivers, creeks or ponds, but ended up using them as an everyday shoe also. They have held up surprisingly well over the 2 years, especially after being used, not just on the trails, but everyday use as well.

They remained very comfortable the first year and a half, then I started to get discomfort out of them. I have since put an insert in and so far have gotten another 6 months comfortable use out of them.

The only negative about these shoes is the lace tightening clip.

It has never works well and has always loosened up with use. Also, when it did work, it would cause discomfort where the lace went across the foot. The material is so thin there it provided no protection and felt as if you were lacing your shoes directly on your skin. I ended up not using them because there are two other Velcro adjustments and the shoes fit just fine without them. But this may not be the case for everybody.

The tread also seemed to wear out fast.

But this could have been from using the shoe as an everyday shoe, so I will not hold this against Teva.

These make great camp shoes and shoes to wear in water environments and I would recommend them for such. I would also recommend them for everyday use for the right individual.
