Retailers' Descriptions

Here's what other sites are saying:

Looking more like a sock on steroids than a proper shoe, the grippy, neoprene Teva Men's P-1 Water Shoe is aimed directly at whitewater kayak competition. Fused instep straps and an internal split-toe divider provide lateral control, while the Spider Rubber sole wraps up and over the sides of the foot to give you reptilian grip. The top can be cut away for a low, custom fit, or left high to pull maximum warmth from the 3.2mm neoprene fabric.
