Reviews

This review isn't about using these shoes for their intended purpose as water shoes. Rather, I have found them to be a very good solution for minimalist running footwear when it's too cold to go barefoot or wear Vibram Five Fingers (I have hiked in them too, on days too cold for VFFs but not cold enough to justify going to the winter boots).

No cushioning or "support" to get in the way of the foot's natural function, and roomy enough to wear with a pair of thick wool socks for warmth if you size up. They can also be used with traction devices such as Stabilicers Sport if needed for slippery conditions.

I only gave them 4.5 stars due to only being available in whole sizes--half sizes would allow for more precise fitting.

Use: running (road and trail) in cold weather
Break-in Period: none
Price Paid: $15
