This shell is not only light, comfortable and well designed it is very water resistant. Having used a lot of different shells I like this a size larger so I can layer fleece or down depending on the weather conditions. The inner water bottle is a nice touch.
Uses: Wet and cold. Proper layering will allow almost all cold weather conditions.
Pros: Very dry, comfortable and fair stretch.
Cons: Price tag will wake you up but this might be your last shell you’ll ever buy, unless you accidentally drag your ice axe across the sleeve.
this shell is sweet. i don't like north face shells too much, but this one is pretty hot. i love the waterproof zippers (introduced by arc'teryx) and its light as paper. i know ems makes a very similar shell if you really dont like north face. but i think this one is worth the money i paid for it.
napolean pocket is a plus.
great value since i got it on sale.

honestly an unbelieveable packable jacket perfect for warm weather hiking trips... really breathable, cost is a lot but i picked up mine for 180. hood is super functional, i think the sizes run slightly large. only 15 oz so its really an unbeatable jacket. regardless of the anti-north face hype this jacket is great.
