Straight up garbage. Boots fell apart instantly. Wife wore them not even five minutes and they came apart rubber cracked. Garbage.

Pros

  • No pros to mention, garbage

Cons

  • They're just junk. And TNF will not back their products. 1 or 2 pairs with defects here and there not an issue. I've read and seen endless pairs of boots that did the same thing, came apart. They're looking into the issue, but they blame the customer. Can't and won't honor what they sell.

They are garbage—not even worth the money spent and the service you get when an issue arises is the customer's fault, and though stored properly in a dry environment The North Face claims moisture got to them so it is not their fault.

On the tongue of the boots it says waterproof and the ankles are rubber. Last I checked water does not affect rubber. Why on this earth would you buy winter boots that cannot withstand moisture for that price when you live in the Northern Rockies? Why then the company says they were damaged due to customers' fault and wear and tear; yet they were not even worn a full day. Made for winter wear in Las Vegas, winter boots, yet they can't withstand for 150 dollars.

Winter boots that can't get moist and The North Face will then tell you how great and then run. Lost us forever. I used to swear by North Face gear. Spineless and should be a lawsuit. I counted over 100 of the same complaints, and not once did I see where the customer was taken care of, only blamed.

Well I have no idea how you sleep. Obvious issues with product, that tells me a lot about what kinda show you're ripping people off intentionally. If not you would be solving the issue instead of blaming customers and running.

Who keeps in business idk. I do know that's exactly the same actions of a crook. Otherwise it would be taken care of. Not one good thing do I have to say about North Face again. Low deal straight up dirty. If I'm outta pocket then prove it. At least honor your boots and they keep you in business. Never again, not a penny, thank you the 150 dollar box of junk.

Background

I'm a hunter as well as very active in many winter outdoor sports and activities. I've seen better products and service thru Walmart and I cannot stand Walmart, but I will say they back their products if faulty—no issue they will make it right. TNF however high end so claimed, they turn tail and blame the customer.
