Two words and two words only.......BOMB PROOF!
Even with no fleece layer this jacket keeps me warm up to -25 C.
I thought this was nuts too.
Highest quality ever made into an extreem conditions jacket.
North Face does it again.
Fabric: Cordura, Supplex, Ultrex, Kevlar
Fill: amazingly none!
Price Paid: 5 bills
I posted a review about two weeks ago for this jacket, but it somehow got erased. I'm posting again because I think it's important that people should know something about this great jacket, there is not a lot of information by any means on this jacket, yet it is one TNF's best, I feel.
The Steep Tech line of jackets is the premiere line of ski parkas that The North Face makes. Of those two there exist two jackets, I believe, the Azimuth (an anorak with a ton of zippers), and the Access (its big brother, with all the bells and whistles). I haven't skiied with it yet, but in the rain it shines! It's pretty heavy with the sturdy fabrics, but hey, for backcountry skiing, it's the bomb! If you're thinking about a top-of-the line ski parka, be sure to check this one out. Email me for more info...
Fabric: Supplex Taslan, Ulterx, Kevlar, tec.
Price Paid: $515 MSRP ($330 sale!)
