The best value in sport shades going these days.

Pros

  • Excellent quality for the money
  • Large variety of interchangeable lenses
  • User replaceable parts

I have actually owned three pairs of these glasses. I still have two of them... one pair for hiking and one for cycling.

I had been looking for a good quality pair of shades for hiking, but didn't want to spend a fortune. Some of the glasses reviewed in major outdoor magazines can cost in excess of two-hundred dollars!

But I saw a couple of reviews of these, so decided to give them a try. They fit great right out of the box, and came with three lenses. Brown, AC (all conditions) Red, and Clear. I have found that I use the AC Red the most often, as they are good in changing light, whether in the sun or in shade. I use the clear lens when commuting home on the bike at night.

The lenses are easy to snap in and out. And when they wear out, it is easy to order replacements through Tifosi's affiliate, Siba Sports. Siba can also supply replacement ear and nose pads, when they wear out, and they are easy to replace. The rubber nose pads and ear pieces are tacky, even as you sweat, and I've never had them slip off.

I have attached a small mirror to the pair which I use for cycling, and it works great.

Each pair comes with a soft bag which doubles as a cleaning cloth and a clamshell zippered case. I have had these for years, and they are still in great shape.

Tifosi makes a wide range of glasses, all of which are an excellent value. Some of their models are prescription lens compatible, so all you need to do is find a optometrist who is a Tifosi dealer, and they can order Rx lenses to fit your model.

All in all, Tifosi is the best value in outdoor shades these days. Great quality at a wickedly good price, and they are the only brand of glasses I wear.
