We purchased this medium backpack for my son's scouting adventures. Not a lot of outside pockets, but deep topload backpack that holds everything and more. Two outside bottle holders and room to spare in the detachable fanny pack. Lots of places to hook mesh bags and other goodies. This is quite a sturdy backpack that will probably outlast his scouting adventures and his growing body.
