rated 5 of 5 stars This sleeping bag seems a little expensive. The weather rating is really high. This bag is best for the experienced backpackers and hikers. I would not recommend it. I was really warm, even on the coldest night. It fit well enough and I am really tall. There was an easy transition. Full review

rated 4 of 5 stars This is not a full review, but more some random notes for potential buyers. I feel there's not too much info out there about this bag. I haven't given this bag a rating since I haven't used it yet, but wanted to write this before forgetting. I have a Big Agnes -20F (-29C) that I've been happy with. It doesn't have down on the bottom side, but you're suppose to use it with an air sleeping pad that you insert into the bottom part of the sleeping bag. This has been working fine. It's very light but… Full review

Bloody Mary

rated 4.5 of 5 stars With proper ground insulation and mid baselayer, it's very comfy down to 7°F. Terrific design. Fantastic foot box. Very good outer shell. Good for side sleeper. Roomy. First let's talk about the loft and down density. I measured it very precisely and removed the collar before doing it: 6.5 inches for the upper torso, 6 inches in the middle, and 7 just before the foot box. But that doesn't mean anything if I don't mention down resilience. It is phenomenal. It almost feel like it's overstuffed. … Full review

Shocking Blue

rated 5 of 5 stars Fantastic lightweight expedition bag. Without too much layering: Comfort rating from 0 to -15F depending on whether you're a warm or cold sleeper. High quality inner and outer shell. It's roomy enough to allow serious layering (expedition down jacket and pants). I don't think there's a better light expedition sleeping bags in the world. Perfect for winter backpacking. I'm 5'11" and the medium size is perfect. If I was taller I would go for the large. I'm an average sleeper and found the bag fantastic. Full review

Shocking Blue

rated 5 of 5 stars Well, here’s a review telling you how I took my size long Valandre Shocking Blue, a 3lb bag EN comfort rated at 16F, to a verified -15F, and slept as soundly as I ever have. At first, you’ll pass it off as experimenter bias, telling yourself that anyone who even considers—let alone owns—an $800 sleeping bag is going to think highly of it to begin with. You’ll say my thermometer had to be off. You’ll tell yourself that, with the clothing I wore, and the fact that I slept on two pads,… Full review
