This is a nice, delightfully filling, cold-soaked meal for lunch or dinner on a hot hiking day. I found this aromatic when I opened the pouch, with a sweet nice smell to it.

You can see the fresh ingredients—lentils, cucumber, apple, bell peppers, onion, apple juice, apple cider vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, dijon mustard, garlic powder, dill, black pepper, paprika and sage.

As you can see from the ingredients in the picture thats a good amount of the vegetables added and the fruit to this meal. While I was eating this I was looking for the flavor of the cucumber and apple and onion and I wasn't disappointed. I also could taste the apple juice and apple cider vinegar in the meal. It wasn't too sweet or tart from the vinegar. It was a nice blend. It also comes to 600 calories for this meal.That's a good amount for a hiker on a hot day.
