Herman Survivor Timber II

rated 1.0 of 5 stars

The Survivor Timber II has been discontinued. If you're looking for something new, check out the best backpacking boots for 2024.

I bought a pair of boots wore them about 5 times the heel came off? not in water just around town dry.

I took them back and the ones I had were lined with lambs wool not the new ones, they have a vynl linning?

I see walmart is sending the work to china? They're not USA anymore. the sole on the replacement boot is thinner, cheap liner, poor fit.

i will return these boots in the morning. Americans have to stand up to walmart and other companys sending work to other countrys, American companys being closed and work being farmed out for cheap labor in china to save a dollar, Walmart has no concern for the american people. Im very disappointed

Price Paid: $49.99

Great work boots at a great price.

Pros

  • Very durable, long lasting
  • Good ankle support

I bought these boots when I started a new job.  I figured I would buy a better pair after a few paychecks. After 2 and a half years of 50 hour weeks, yard work and countless trips to the woods, I went back to Wal-Mart and bought another pair.  Great boots at a great value. In 2 and a half years I'll buy another pair.

These boots suck. Designer should be stomped with them!!

Bought the Timber Two boots, wore them for one day and lost skin on back of ankles typical breakin in then second day ankles swelled up so bad couldn't walk, two days later now stopped wearing them and these boots are a piss poor design. Whoever did it should get the boot in his ass, obviously he never wore a pair!!!

My husband bought these shoes at the end of August, not even 2 months later the bottom still looks new, but the sole is split all the way through. That is crazy. He should get a new pair for free. We will never buy this brand nor will we ever recommend your product. In fact we will make a point to let people know that your company makes a horrible boot and you suck.

Price Paid: $49.98

These are comfortable, but don't last more than a few months...Sad, I thought going back to this boot was a good idea when i should of put this money into a better pair. I know now not to buy boots at Wal-mart ... I WANT MY MONEY BACK ... rip offs! (r&d cant leave a good thing alone) always trying to save on the CAPITAL with more yields !ARG

Price Paid: forget

These are some of the most comfortable boots I've ever worn, but that means nothing if they don't last. After a few months, the soles split wide open letting water and debris in. Sole composition is obviously inferior. I shant ever buy boots from Walmart again.

Materials: leather
Use: work
Break-in Period: 2 weeks
Weight: unk
Price Paid: $49

Very comfortable, however, just like everyone else says the sole split within two months. Not worth the money you pay if it is only going to last two months.
