E-Z Pak 1000

rated 4 of 5 stars The High Peak E-Z Pak 1000 is a very good, well built, warm weather sleeping bag if you are big enough to fill it up. The construction quality, price, features, and durability are excellent, but the temperature rating is very optimistic. I recommend this sleeping bag only to the "big and tall" crowd. Words to the wise to start; First of all... ALWAYS use a sleeping bag liner! A sleeping bag is an investment—usually an expensive investment. The insulation in a sleeping bag, whether down or synthetic,… Full review

rated 4.5 of 5 stars This is a great tent for its price and weight. It is very roomy for two people. Setup is rather simple and just takes a few minutes. The tent vents really well, and on a clear night you get to take it all in. Best use for backpacking. Yes, I would recommend this product. This tent is well worth the money. It's one of the few full sub 4lbs 2P tents that doesn't break the bank. That being said, one of the more difficult part was finding the proper ground cloth. I ended up making my own. It does come… Full review

rated 5 of 5 stars This tent is reliable, inexpensive, and great for all 4 seasons. I have used this in multiple situations, weather conditions, and on multiple trips — I will summarize the conditions below. I have used this tent for about 3 years. Setup - Quite easy to pitch alone, very easy with 2 people. Poles stick slightly when being fed through the tent's pole sleeves, but this is only a minor annoyance. The following section should speak to weather resistance, ventilation, room and storage, and packability. Full review

rated 4 of 5 stars This tent has been bomb-proof for me in a variety of conditions. The set-up is fairly straight forward with nothing very different from other tents, but the durability and stability are what make this tent better than others I've used in the past. I have used this in over 30 mph winds, and it has stood its ground well. The bunjee cords used to stake in the tent really help as a shock-absorber system to take some of the shock out out wind gusts. This is the first "four-season" tent I've owned, and… Full review

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Great inexpensive sleeping bag. This is a great economical sleeping bag. I have used it in temps down to around 29° and been quite comfortable.  For a mummy bag it is not too terribly snug. You still have some wiggle room (and I am not a small person).  In cold weather I use a tent and a sleeping pad and I am usually too warm zipped up in this, so often I put on a benie and leave the hood off and the top drawstring all the way open.  At 20 degrees I would probably zip up all the way, but haven't… Full review
