Gravity Trail Jacket

rated 3.5 of 5 stars Lightweight hybrid jacket—part fleece, part softshell for wind resistance. Intended for runners and cyclists, but also useful for walkers. The Gravity Trail fleece jacket by German company Jack Wolfskin caught my eye for two reasons. First, it has elevated, rucksack-compatible pockets. Elevated pockets are a common feature on rainjackets and softshells, but very rare on fleeces for some reason. Second, the front of the Gravity Trail is made of what Jack Wolfskin claims to be windproof material. Full review

Stormlock Shapka

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Heavy winter hat made for extremely cold weather. Offers circular protection from the wind. While this hat has the traditional design, the materials are modern and top-tier. Has limited use due to its warmth. I purchased this hat about five years ago for use on occasions when the temperature drops far below -10°C (14°F), and my other hats offer very little protection against cold wind. I wear a black head band beneath the hat for better protection The name of this model means simply “a hat”… Full review

Trail Head II

rated 4 of 5 stars Love the pack. A friend found it for me and I've been using it every day for many months. The two top zippers finally broke, but the rest is in top shape. I've been homeless for 2 years and this is the best pack yet. It is very comfortable, even when I have over 50 lbs. in it, which is quite often. Full review

Touch the Clouds

rated 5 of 5 stars Comfortable sleeping bag with good insulation and weight. Warmth Yes, it is warm, and keeps that way all night long. I've used it on vivac with +-0°C and was absolutely fine. Woke up with my face (the part I left outside) wet by the morning mist and in the inside was perfectly dry. Fit & Comfort I'm 1,80 mt and have the Regular version (it comes in different sizes) and it's great. I can rise up if I want my face out or deep in if not and have room for either with no problem. The hood can be… Full review

Traverse Jacket

rated 5 of 5 stars Warm, comfortable, windproof and water repellent. Great for use in a three-layer setup. Fit & Comfort Fits very well, and gives a lot of freedom of movement. Adjustability Can be adjusted on the wristbands, the waist and in the hood. I usually only adjust the waist in order to lift it up a little when using it on the rain under my J-W's Highland as a three-layer setup. Water Resistance It's water-resistant, and after several washes, it's the same as new. Breathability As a soft shell it breathes… Full review
