Little Buffalo Camp Grill

photo: Little Buffalo Camp Grill stove accessory

Great collapsible grill for cooking over the campfire and keeping the kettle going. It's small enough that I can keep it in my truck to grab it whenever I need it.

Pros

  • Light
  • Collapsible
  • Sturdy
  • Compact

Cons

  • I don't think you could hang a dutch oven from it, if that's your thing

I've had my share of campfire tripods and, though a little more expensive, this Little Buffalo Camp Grill is a lot more versatile, lighter, and collapses down smaller than anything I've had to date. It's sturdy enough to hold the grill, kettles, and various other items like your grilling utensils.

It can also be used to hang lanterns and stuff when not in use over a fire. You could easily swap the grill surface out for something smaller or larger. I don't think you'd get away with hanging a dutch oven or a large cast iron pot, but it seems sturdy enough.

Background

I've used this grill a half dozen times over the past several months and it's worked great. I expect it will last for quite some time and be my go-to for campfire cooking.
