This jacket is amazing. Every zipper is waterproof. There are two large hand pockets, two outside chest pockets, and two inside chest pockets plus a waterbottle carrier. Powder shield. Will be perfect for a ski jacket or climbing jacket. Most durable Gore-Tex XCR on the market (6 oz/sq yd). Amazing hood that will fit perfectly.

A couple caveats, hood is detachable, so I don't think it looks as cool. Zippers are not as heavy duty as those on Arc'teryx jackets, I think this was done to save weight though. So far no malfunctions whatsoever, totally waterproof/windproof/destruction proof as advertised.

The jacket itself is extremely well designed. Zipout hood fits over helmets, all the other bells and whistles work great. After a year (about three hard seasons of use) however, the finish is worn off and the fabric saturates when wet. To prevent this, It is necessary to buy expensive refinishers that wear off much more quickly (about two weeks). The bottom line is that without constant reapplication of new DWR (Durable Water Resistance) the jacket leaks. The leaking is especially bad when wearing a pack and putting pressure on the membrain.
