This is a great tent. Nearly bomb-proof, winds up to 40mph and it holds strong when guyed and placed with either end windward.

On the Lower Saddle of Grand Teton we fit three average guys into this tent, ridiculous, but possible. When using the footprint and rain-fly, it's a great beach hut to escape the sun and feel the breeze, or a great way to get out of the rain quick.

I use gun cleaning oil on the poles, and wash the body, fly and print with tech-wash after serious trips, going on two years from the Oregon Coast, Olympic NP, Yellowstone backcountry week trips, and Texas trips.

With the f-print and 2xtra stakesĀ it's about 6lbs (after a few Nikwax treatments), but for two people, 3lbs is worth being able to "sleep through a storm."
