Ozark Trail Winter Boot

rated 1.5 of 5 stars

The Winter Boot has been discontinued. If you're looking for something new, check out the best winter boots for 2024.

I just purchased these boots for my 7-year-old son. He wears a size 8.5 mens boot. Yes, he is only 7-years-old. I purchased them just after 2 Jan 07 for him. Since we have owned them the soul has been separating on one boot and the pair have developed cracks in the rubber.

The state of Maine has a mild winter prior to 20 Jan 07. Now that it is the 19 Feb 07 the boots have developed these issues. It will be very hard to find boots this time of year since the summer products are out on the shelves at your local stores. I am very disappointed in the quality of these boots and I do not think I will ever purchase another Ozark product if this is the type of quality their products are.

I bought a pair around November 20, 2010 and was wearing them deer hunting. First let me say they are nice looking boots and keep feet warm.

But after wearing them about 2 weeks noticed a line where they bend when you walk. I showed my wife and told her that they would split there and they did did not last 2 months.

I normally buy a pair of inslated boots for around $30 and they last 2 years. I do not have my receipt where I bought them at Walmart or I would take them back to them. I do not think I will buy that brand any more.
