Patagonia Black Hole Duffel

rated 5 of 5 stars This bag surpassed my expectations. It is now my go-to travel bag that can be used for many different occasions. This duffel backpack bag quickly became my favorite multi-purpose travel bag. I can use it for the gym, I use for week-long trips, and I've used it on multi-day kayaking trips. I recorded a video because I wanted to show people that you can actually fit 7+ days worth of clothes in it (I have the 60L duffel), with some room to spare, which still amazes me a bit. Here's the link if you're… Full review

Osprey Transporter 95

rated 4 of 5 stars Great convertible duffle/backpack. Rain resistant and bomb-proof. TSA friendly. Check it in! As an active Scouter with a Pack AND Troop, I camp a lot. I've purchased different bags over the years in an effort to find the perfect bag. Is the Transporter the go-to bag? Not exactly, but pretty close. When my Troop went to Hawaii at Camp Pupukea, I looked around for a duffle bag that the Scouts could use regularly and was TSA friendly (i.e., lockable). After several trips to REI and beyond, I settled… Full review

Osprey Airporter Small

rated 5 of 5 stars Protective cover for medium size rucksacks when travelling by air. Packs down to a compact size. Hiking rucksacks tend to have plenty of dangling straps that can get caught in airport luggage conveyor belts, risking damage if they are checked in as hold luggage. The Osprey Airporter is a protective cover that completely encases your rucksack, eliminating this problem. The Airporter packs into its own pocket, so you can keep it in your rucksack till it's time for your flight back home.  The Airporter… Full review

The North Face Rolling Thunder

rated 5 of 5 stars Terrific bag! Sturdy and tough. Nice product!! A great carry-on suitcase for air travel. Slim profile allows easy lifting to overhead bins. Three sturdy handles for lifting into trunk of auto! Wheels are smooth and sturdy. Collapsible handle works with one touch!  Full review

The North Face Base Camp Duffel

rated 5 of 5 stars My size small base camp duffel is a favorite for short work trips and toting small amounts of extra gear to and from a trailhead. It is built to withstand harsh punishment, easy to carry, and easy to access the interior contents. Cost is the only negative. Available from carry-on size to trek-swallowing massive, the base camp duffel might be the most indestructible and comfortable way to get your stuff from one place to the other. Mine is a size small, and I use it primarily for air travel, national… Full review

Eureka! Sleeping Bag Carry Duffel

rated 4 of 5 stars A great bag. It holds everything very well. I have heard stories of some areas breaking, but not sure if it was taken care of properly. Full review

Patagonia Black Hole Duffel

rated 4.5 of 5 stars This bag is water resistant and has a big capacity. It is a heavy duty bag and I would recommend. This bag is great for specific things, such as traveling or carrying equipment. It is too big for hiking though, but is a seriously good bag. Full review

Tepui Expedition Series Gear Bag

rated 3.5 of 5 stars Bomb proof fabric and excellent construction make this a great duffle for backpack travel protection or just hitting the road. A washable water resistant finish keeps the contents clean and the outside looking new. Tepui, the company that is best known for their wild cartop tents, also makes some very good expedition style duffles. I've had their duffle bag since January and have taken it on a couple of trips for testing. This is a large size duffle with interior space a bit over 3.5 square feet. Full review
