Toaks Titanium 750ml Pot

Strong and light titanium pot with lid.

From a solo overnight to an extended multi-day trip this pot is the perfect size for lightweight backpacking. At 750 ml  it will easily boil enough water for your breakfast oatmeal and coffee, your ramen for lunch, or a dehydrated meal and hot chocolate for dinner.

It has folding handles and a lid with a wire tab that makes checking on your food easy and burn free.

Weighing just 103 g and taking up 102 mm X 112 mm of space it is small and light.

If I'm trying to reduce my pack weight or even just going out for a day hike and want something to cook lunch with, this pot combined with the Toaks small wood stove is becoming my go-to cook kit. It will easily fit in a side pocket or takes up very little space in my main pack.

Good size and weight, and nice carrying sack to limit soot transfer to pack.

I also bought this a couple months ago. Used on my Emberlit Mini Ti woodstove, and it works like a charm. The chief pot competition in my pack is the GSI Minimalist made out of Aluminum alloy Halulite.

Each have their good and bad: The good for the Toaks is the super light pot and lighter lid, the integrated handles, and the carry sack  The downside compared to the GSI is the handles become so hot, I still need to use a bandana for gripping, so not as much of an advantage as I’d hoped over the GSI which has no handles. In fact, possibly no real advantage.

The Toaks is slightly larger with .75L vs. .6L of the GSI and I always prefer a larger pot. Though I still need to boil a second pot to have more hot water to drink if I use two cups for food. The super thin pot appears to cool off fairly quickly vs. the GSI, which is significantly thicker and also comes with a fitted neoprene cozy.

I do like the addition of the stretchy carry sack to reduce soot transfer to the pack. Wood stoves make a lot of soot, especially if you need to use conifer wood to get the fire going.  

In the end this is a good pot, reasonable price, but not really the cat's meow that blows away the competition.  

This pot is super light and sturdy. I like the graduated ML markings. Works well with my BRS stove. I love it for backpacking!

I use this pot on all of my backpacking adventures. Works great for some dehydrated meals and instant coffee. Washes up well too.
