My trusty Long Handle Titanium spoon is the only eating utensil that I need in the backcountry. It is simple and functional, and does a much better job than any spork. Ease of Use: A good eating utensil should be one of the simplest pieces of gear. Done right, most backpackers will find that they only need one utensil for fast and effective food delivery. But this is a piece of gear that people often get wrong, IMHO. For years I had it wrong too. I fell into the trap of thinking a spork was the… Full review
A brilliant and simple 'gasifying' wood burning stove that slots together quickly and stacks inside the Toaks Titanium pot for a simple, lightweight, and compact wood burning cook system. I have many wood burning stoves and this is one of my favourites. I can have it set up with a decent flame in seconds using birch bark or a recycled inner tube tyre as tinder and a few twigs. Super light, nice length. Length is just right for digging deep into bags of freeze dried food or deep pots. The polished bowl is easy to deal with in eating and in cleaning. Comes with a little storage bag. Excellent. Full review

Then I got a titanium spork, but never used the fork end after years of use, and I found it to be a little short when eating out of packages or stirring food over heat. Now I use Toaks's long handled titanium spoon, and love it. It feels like a chef's utensil in hand, and the angle of the bowl is great for scooping. I may add lines to the end of the handle for… Full review
Lightweight, compact small titanium pot. Large enough to nest a 4-oz fuel canister and the rest of my solo cook kit. Works for me! My review today is for the 550 ml Toaks Titanium pot. One in a series of 95mm diameter pots. Toaks sells three different size pots in the 95 mm series—550, 650, and 750 ml with a variety of handle options. I choose the 550-ml with the longer, insulated handles. It is approximately 3.5 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter. I use this as my solo cook kit. It's big enough… Full review
