Trailtopia Brown Sugar and Raisin Oatmeal
Simple trail breakfast! Oatmeal of course, but not just any oatmeal. Trailtopia oatmeal is what I crave in the morning, a reminder of my youth with brown sugar and plump raisins. A perfectly comforting morning routine on the trail packed with goodness!

This oatmeal is one of my favorite breakfasts on the trail. It is small and simple and packs sufficient carb energy to start hiking. The flavors remind me of my youth, especially in the wintertime. My mother would make us brown sugar and raisin oatmeal in the morning and it was so comforting. This meal is a replica of that time. I actually brought pure maple syrup with me on this past adventure and poured some in the pouch; it was a real treat.
Easy to make, just add boiling water and let it sit for a bit (approx. 5 minutes)

Preparation: Open bag, remove and discard enclosed oxygen absorber before preparation. Expand bottom of bag. Add 3/4 to1 Cup boiling water, stir thoroughly, seal and let sit for 5 minutes. Adjust water to change consistency to your liking. Stir before eating.
