The Tribe Provisions Hammock is a comfortable, lightweight, durable hammock that offers great value for the average person.

The hammock system that I purchased on Amazon came with a hammock, two cords, and two carabiners. Everything packs neatly into the attached storage bag. I don't use the cords and carabiners, but rather I purchased a different strap system to hang my hammock for ease of use.

The hammock is easy to set up, similar to any gathered end hammock. I place the straps around the tree and use carabiners to clip the hammock to each strap. Once the hammock is hung it feels stable.

The material is a thin lightweight diamond ripstop nylon. The material is made to feel cool and comfortable against the skin and thus not waterproof or weatherproof. On a hot day the material allows one to stay cool inside the hammock. On a cold day one might need an underquilt to hold out the cold.

The hammock is 10 feet in length, which to me is fine. I'm 6ft tall. I feel totally comfortable laying diagonal both to relax and sleep.

The stuff sack that is attached to the hammock easily fits the hammock and straps within. This makes it very easy to pack for day hikes or extended trips.

Everything works together pretty well with this hammock. At first I thought that the material might be too thin and not durable. But the hammock has held up well. I've thru-hiked the John Muir Trail with the hammock amongst other trips. I still own hammocks made by Byer and ENO, but this is my go-to hammock.

There may be better quality, more comfortable, and more durable hammocks out there. However, I only paid $19 for my hammock and thus it offers great quality and value. With all the money I saved I could go out and buy a great strap suspension system.

I've owned and used this hammock for over 60 outdoor days/nights over a three-year period and it has performed beyond my expectations. If you are new to hammocks or an old timer, this makes a great hammock.
