Mountain Hardwear Super/DS StretchDown Hooded Down Jacket
Comfortable lightweight and seems to keep me warm (California). Styling is unique. Stretch fabric is a must have! Fits smaller—I wear small, medium fits me nicely. Lots of favorable reviews out there.
Pros
- Athletic fit and stretchy fabric
- Super nice design, no-stitch technology
- Lightweight, comfortable, and warm
- I have the hooded version, rust color. Lots of compliments.
Cons
- Ginormous hood! No hood adjustment, which would rectify that. It’s great for covering helmets, not everyday use of the hood or in windy conditions. I like the jacket so much I am going to have a cinch cord or two put in to modify it.
I have not used the jacket yet for outdoor activities. Just work and errands because I don’t want to take it off. :)
I have read numerous reviews stating it has great durability and warmth. And it seems to. Read very few negative comments other than the hood size and adjustment (lack of).
I am a woman and prefer the style and color of men’s jackets, and I usually wear a small in Mountain Hardwear. This jacket fits me snug in a good way and is a medium.
Background
I have several jackets from various makers.
