WHAT A PIECE OF CRAP!!!!!!!!!!! We have two of these. A little tough to put up, but what do you expect for a big tent. It was great in dry, windless weather, but then, here came the rain..... uh oh! The rain flap that covers the tent collects water, resulting in the tent collapsing (ain't that wonderful when you are sleeping!!!). When the tent collapses, it results in tearing the tent, and destroying the poles and pole joiners. What a waste of money! Don't take this thing ANYWHERE unless you want a miserable trip! If you paid $199 for a piece of dog crap you would be getting a better deal than paying $199 for this tent!

Kmart's response? Well, if you bought it over 90 days ago, too bad so sad, that's your tough luck charlie! Well, there goes almost $500 down the drain (we bought two of these tents, and BOTH collapsed during the rain on our camping trip.)

One more time, in case you didn't catch on already

THIS TENT IS A PIECE OF CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Update: August 16, 2004

Just spoke to the manufacturer (I was on hold for 45 minutes!). They stand behind their product as well as Kmart did. TOO BAD SO SAD! And you have to love it when someone tells you something CAN'T happen that just DID happen to you. How about taking one out and staying a week in it in foul weather, and THEN telling me it WON'T DO THAT???????????????

I really wish I'd had read these reviews PRIOR to buying... hopefully someone else will though.

Oh, and by the way, customer service said they could SELL me the parts I neet to repair the tent. OK, I need poles, corner joiners, and both the tents themselves since they ripped when they fell!!!!!!!

Now think about this, your two stupid worthless tents are crap They ruined our trip (all seven of us had to sleep in a van the rest of our trip!), and you want to sell me parts to fix it??????????? HELL NO!!! So much for their 100% money back guarantee!!!!!

Design: Horrible

This is about the worst tent that I have ever bought. I will never buy any of these products of this name brand again. We had a very hard time erecting it; then after we had it up it rained the second night we camped and every seam in the tent poured water. I always thought that a tent was suppose to be comfortable, but we had a miserable week. We were suppose to stay for 2 weeks but after 1 week I told my husband please take me home. He saw I was in tears, so he said ok. Thanks to your lousy tent our 2 week vacation was a disaster. I think you should refund our $85 for our campsite plus the amount of our tent.

Design: 14x14 comfort cabin delux 3 room with utility room
Sleeps: 6+
Ease of Setup: very hard to set up
Weight: it don't have it listed
Price Paid: $199.97

This tent has managed to last ffive years and it is very roomy. However, it can be difficult to set up unless you have three people. Since we only use it once or twice a year, it has served us well. It did partially collapse on us last year, but it was during an intense storm with 80 mph winds and a foot of rain in less than two hours. A plastic corner connector broke. Considering it was not designed to withstand these kinds of conditions, it is hard to be too upset. Replacing that part is only costing me $3.

As a discount priced occassional use tent, it is fine. Serious campers who often face extreme conditions should not use this type of tent.

Design: Cabin Tent
Sleeps: 6+
Ease of Setup: Moderate - Difficult if you are short
Weight: heavy
Price Paid: $99

Our tent has lasted for 5 years with 2 camping trips per year plus backyard camping and a 13-year-old girl slumber party.

We always waterproofed the tent and never had a leak. The only trouble we ever had was the zipper broke one of the doors but that was from someone being rough with it. We camp on the shores of Lake Erie and even weathered the storms there that can blow up in a minute.

I am VERY happy with this tent and I am actually looking for another one like it. If you take care, and WATER PROOF this tent will serve you well.

Design: vcabin
Sleeps: 6+
Ease of Setup: 2 can do it
Weight: i don't know
Price Paid: $149

As a KATRINA RELIEF volunteer in Biloxi, MS, this tent has got to be the worst joke. Water is coming through each and every seam as I write this, but to top it off, it's permeating up through the floor!!!!!!!!!!! This tent is shite....DO NOT PURCHASE.
