David Baker Wins $300 Gear Spree from Tahoe Mountain Sports

by Alicia MacLeay
August 26, 2013

Congratulations to community member and gear reviewer, David Baker! He wins a $300 gear shopping spree from Tahoe Mountain Sports for sharing his review. New harness, pack, tent, or shell—three hundred bucks will get him some worthy gear.

Plus, we're sending him a Trailspace Trail Runner Cap to wear on his outdoor adventures.

David's review of his Keen Men's Newport H2 sandals ("Outstanding sport sandal for all conditions...well maybe not snow and ice, but I haven't tried that yet!") was selected randomly from the 195 outdoor gear reviews submitted since August 5.

Family owned and operated by Dave Polivy and Pam Jahnke, Tahoe Mountain Sports is based in Kings Beach, California, on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. It offers a full range of gear, clothing, and footwear for camping, hiking, rock climbing, trail running, biking, and snowsports; personally tests products; and supports local nonprofits and events.

Thanks to David Baker and everyone who has shared reviews of his or her outdoor gear with their fellow Trailspace community members.

If you didn't win this time, stay tuned for our next write-a-review gear giveaway, starting later today.

(We will contact the winner via private message on Trailspace.com the day of the drawing. If the winner doesn't reply within six days, we'll draw a new winner.)
