RailRiders Women's Adventure Top

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Can't say enough about this shirt. Its UV protection and comfortable, lightweight, and quick drying fabric make this an awesome choice for activities in a variety of climates. Fit & Comfort: I love this shirt! Does it make you look like a pilgrim? Yes, but's its a great shirt nonetheless. It is lightweight, comfortable and it dries quickly—making it ideal for multi-day trips in the backcountry.  The fabric will get stiff as sweat dries, but that's to be expected and nothing a quick rinse… Full review

Columbia Men's PFG Bahama II Long Sleeve Shirt

rated 5 of 5 stars Terrific for warm weather, direct sunshine use. Application in fishing, hiking, and camping are great! Roomy fit for active uses! Perfect for a fishing or hiking. Long sleeves could take off the chill in the morning or protect from direct sunlight on warm afternoons. Vents and pockets are idea for active use fishing, as well as attractive enough for city streets!  Full review

Columbia Men's Silver Ridge Short Sleeve Shirt

rated 5 of 5 stars UPF 30 protection at an affordable price. The same features as my Silver Ridge Pants, but with UPF 30 protection due to the short sleeve factor. Same true to size, same quality but also featuring two vents in the back for direct ventilation and enchanced breathability. The fabric is a little more "3D", so to speak, mesh weave in comparison to the SR pants that aids in not stick-to-your-skin feeling when sweaty. If you want the UPF 50 protection you should stick to the long-sleeve version. Toad&Co Ventilair Short Sleeve Shirt

rated 4 of 5 stars Bluesign fabric keeps you cool and moisture free. UV protection makes this a dual function shirt. As an outdoor enthusiast who likes to combine travel and hiking or backpacking, I am always on the lookout for dual function clothing. The Toad&Co Ventilair Short Sleeve Shirt is perfect for this purpose. The shirt is manufactured from "Bluesign" approved fabric that Toad&Co call Suncool. Combining organic cotton to pull the moisture from the body with heat reflecting hydrophobic polyester… Full review

Craghoppers NosiLife Prospect Long-Sleeved Shirt

rated 4 of 5 stars Permanent Insect Shield sets this shirt apart from the crowd. Anti-bacterial, moisture control, and solar shield make for a very versatile shirt. This Craghoppers Prospect long sleeve shirt with NosiLife insect control has provided me with a lot insect-free days on the trail and during travels. It's made from 100% Polyamide (nylon) with the synthetic pyrethroid treated yarn. For those that like a scientific explanation "Synthetic pyrethroids are synthesized derivatives of naturally occurring pyrethrins,… Full review

Sierra Designs Long Sleeve Pack Polo

rated 3 of 5 stars This is a really well-designed shirt that could be great with tweaks to the fabric and sizing. I bought this shirt hoping that it would be my go-to shirt for backpacking. Unfortunately, the sizing is simply too small, and the fabric is not all that comfortable. Fit & Comfort:  Sierra Designs products run really small, I guess. The size chart says 34-37" in the chest for a small, and they really mean it. I normally wear a 37" or 38", and this shirt fits snugly around my chest. The really constricting… Full review

Icebreaker Oreti Short Sleeve Shirt

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Easily the most practical summer shirt for outdoor or casual wear. As you're heading outdoors and wondering what to pack to be as light as possible, look no further than this shirt. It breathes, it's light and comfortable, it will never smell bad (almost), and it's made pretty tough. You can also fit a map in the two big front pocket that are easily accessible. Same quality build we'd expect from Icebreaker. Buttons snap super tight and zippers feel like quality. Take this shirt and head out without… Full review

Peter Storm Long Sleeve Travel Shirt

rated 4 of 5 stars Tough shirt made of heavy gauge nylon. The main point of interest in this shirt, and the reason I am reviewing it, is the heavy gauge material from which it is made. Most nylon (polyamide) shirts are flimsy things designed for comfort in hot weather rather than toughness. This shirt is the precise opposite. To give you an idea, my size medium weighs 309g (10.9z) when the average shirt weighs less than 250g (8.8oz). If you need a heavy duty nylon shirt for whatever reason—for instance, a shirt… Full review

Mountain Hardwear Men's Canyon Shirt Long Sleeve

rated 5 of 5 stars Tough, durable, cool shade. The best summer hiking and work wear I have found. I'm a landscaper in hot Tucson where 1/4 second of shade from a flying by airplane is helpful. Dealing with desert heat and plants takes toughness as so many plants have thorns and needles. Yet this is the coolest wearing shady shirt I've ever found. Had these over 10 years, yet they do not show any wear and I wear them often. Still don't have a tear in either, an amazing feat in the desert. Full review
