The Nemo Rocket 2-Person Camping Tent - The Nemo Rocket 2-Person Camping Tent is the lightest livable 2-person shelter ever designed. It is made with top-shelf technical fabrics and employs a completely new A-Frame style, T-bar supported pole structure that offers unprecedented sitting room and livable space at an effervescent weight.
Weighing less than two pounds, the Nemo Rocket Tent helps you blast up the trail by not weighing you down. It has a unique design to keep weight down and internal space up. While most tents either have a double wall (removable rain fly and mesh canopy) or single wall (essentially just a rain fly) design, the Rocket is both a double and single wall construction. Its hybrid design is single wall on two sides and double wall above the doors to minimize weight and packing space, and still provide the versatile protection for warm-and-sunny or cold-and-rainy weather. The mesh doors amplify airflow in warm weather, and the rain fly creates vestibules over the mesh doors for dry storage. A hybrid wall construction isn't the only feature that makes the Rocket innovative and original. Its pole setup uses two DAC Featherlite NSL poles in a T-shape at the center of the tent. The Dyneema cords at the corner have carbon fiber struts that self-equalize the tent's tension to setup in an A-frame shape. You can remove the center pole and hang the tent from a branch above to reduce weight by three ounces.
