Mountain Hardwear Hestia Bib

When your bibs last ten years you need to tell folks. This is my go-to bib for any winter activity that I will be human powered. Superb durability and fantastic venting. The greatest advantage is the ability to easily zip and unzip legs for breathable venting during uphill travel. I paused as I went to grab my bibs for a day of skinning and skiing the other day. Wow, ten years. So often we complain about the shortcoming of a piece of gear. But I just have to give a shout-out to Mountain Hardwear. Full review

Patagonia Women's Insulated Snowbelle Pants

I have LOVED wearing this pant this winter! I was looking for a pant I could use in hiking the NH 48's and this is the one! They fit comfy and kept me toasty when above treeline in the negative temps and below windchill! Would definitely recommend! These pant kept me warm and dry in some very cold temps. I have worn them in snow and did not get wet at all. L.L.Bean Men's Carrabassett Ski Pants

Loaded with features, these ski pants double as my snowshoeing and ascent pants. They are warm enough for skiing by themselves and with a mid-weight insulating layer, they are great for alpine expedition trips. Love these pants for multi-purpose winter sports. With a good mid-weight insulating layer, they are quite food for multi-day hiking and camping, and reasonable for summitting snow alpine peaks in the Adirondacks. Salomon Sideways Bib Pant

The are awesome, and very versatile bibs that come with plenty of pockets and can handle anything you throw their way. I have only used these bibs for half a season now but so far I am very impressed. Full disclosure I very much prefer bibs over snow pants, I like having the extra pockets, warmth and not getting snow down my pants. All in all, an absolute 5-star product. I've been using these pants for three years now and have nothing but positive words to say. Arc'teryx Men's Theta SV Bib

Bomber bibs...packable, waterproof, light, and super durable. As a member of Gore MountainTechs, I have the opportunity to field test GORE-TEX gear in some of the harshest conditions...and these bibs are amazing.   They're lightweight and packable, yet thick enough to stand up to tough abrasion on rock/ice. Arc'teryx Men's Theta SV Bib

Great for winter activities. I have used these for winter mountaineering and backcountry skiing. The fabric is thin but has been really durable when skiing through the trees. I really like the pockets on the bid for storing small items. The only issue I have with the pants is that the cuffs are really tight around my ski boots. On the bright side, no snow gets in. The North Face Levitate Pant

u need to wear long underwear and warm pants under these. I bought these and returned them they didn't keep me warm. Now I use long underwear and dickies under wallmart rain pants and I'm warmer when I did get warm the side vents had fabric that was too thick to let air pass through. All in all a bad buy. Salomon Men's Bonfire Kinetic T10 Pant

These pants are so good, and look great (the cut is really cool legs/ass wise) that I have worn them 200 days a year for the last three years. Never have I worn them so much.
