Congratulations to community member and reviewer Herdingcats! He just won a waterproof GoBe+ 700 Spot handheld light, thanks to Light and Motion, for sharing his gear review ($299 value).

Plus, we're sending Herdingcats a Trailspace Trail Runner Cap to wear on his outdoor adventures.

Herdingcats's Columbia boots after 150 miles

Herdingcats reviewed his pair of Columbia Hells Peak LTR Outdry boots, which have stood up to 150 miles of hiking and counting:

"For less than $100, these are nothing short of an amazing value and they are far and away better than a typical sub-$100 shoe."

Herdingcats's review was selected randomly from the 150 outdoor gear reviews submitted since January 10.

His new GoBe+ 700 Spot features: 700 lumens, a 20-degree beam optimized to eliminate hot spots, a factory sealed design waterproof to 120 meters, and a USB rechargeable li-ion battery with battery status indicator, five power modes, and run-times up to 54 hours ($299).

Thanks to Herdingcats, and everyone who has shared reviews of his or her outdoor gear with their fellow Trailspace community members.

If you didn't win this time, stay tuned for our next write-a-review gear giveaway.

(We will contact the winner via private message on Trailspace.com the day of the drawing. If the winner doesn't reply within six days, we'll draw a new winner.)
