Mountain Hardwear Monkey Man Jacket

rated 4 of 5 stars Most comfy fleece jacket I own! If you are looking for the ultimate fleece jacket look no further. The fabric is so comfy I now wear it all the time! I'm 6 foot tall and the only problem is the arm length, but they have a thumb hole to have them well in place and keep your lower hands warm when needed.  Full review

Macpac Pisa Polartec Alpha Fleece Jacket

rated 5 of 5 stars Most importantly, it fits me well and feels good against my skin. Winter base layer or lightweight midlayer I have recommended friends have a look and try this garment out. For the first time in an absolute age I have something from the iconic kiwi brand that actually fits and performs as the blurb says. I just bought a Pisa Polartec Alpha Fleece Jacket top on clearance just to see what they are like. The Pisa Polartec Hooded Jacket is a new product at a similar cost. First things first, it… Full review

MontBell Men's Chameece Inner Jacket

Patagonia Women's Better Sweater Jacket

rated 5 of 5 stars Great jacket for hiking and daily wear. Perfect for chilly fall weather. I love this jacket and wear it often. It is perfect for layering for hiking. I got a large, so there is plenty of room for clothes underneath (I usually get a medium). Fit is nice—not too tight in arms, etc. Very comfortable for everyday use. I also like the pockets. Jack Wolfskin Gravity Trail Jacket

rated 3.5 of 5 stars Lightweight hybrid jacket—part fleece, part softshell for wind resistance. Intended for runners and cyclists, but also useful for walkers. The Gravity Trail fleece jacket by German company Jack Wolfskin caught my eye for two reasons. First, it has elevated, rucksack-compatible pockets. Elevated pockets are a common feature on rainjackets and softshells, but very rare on fleeces for some reason. Second, the front of the Gravity Trail is made of what Jack Wolfskin claims to be windproof material. Full review

Arc'teryx Men's Fortrez Hoody

rated 4 of 5 stars Versatile light-to-midweight, fairly breathable Polartec Power Stretch gridded fleece with Hardface tech. Featuring some excellent features and with better than average durability. Waited for the end of season sales before taking the plunge and buying my first one in Autumn (Fall) 2015. I did find the Arc'teryx Fortrez's Athletic 'Trim' fit a little restrictive on my bulky (46in) torso, shoulders and upper arms at first, but Arc’teryx’s anatomical patterning, articulated elbows, gusseted underarms and… Full review

Patagonia Men's Dual Aspect Hoody

rated 2 of 5 stars Good jacket, but not worth the money you pay for it. I got this jacker after my R3 was stolen. The R3 I had was high loft Polartec and I used it under a shell with a short sleeve under it during the Canadian winter months. It was heavy but warm and I gave away my down liner that came with the jacket. Reading reviews and knowing Polartec I went with a Double Aspect Hoodie. Up to - 15° it is very comfortable under a leather jacket (not a shell). I still have to test it with a shell. In Europe it… Full review

Paramo Taiga Fleece

rated 5 of 5 stars Super warm and very soft and comfortable jacket with a silk-like lining and lots of pockets. Fit and comfort is great. It's not too tight and you can easily fit an extra layer underneath, though I tend to use it with just one tee shirt or base layer under. It has a high collar and good zip and front poppers on the zip and wrists so as to keep all the nasty wind out and with the drawcord waist it's easy to cinch it in around the midriff to keep very toasty. It has a super soft feel to it and is noiseless,… Full review

The North Face Men's Khumbu 2 Jacket

rated 4 of 5 stars Looks big for me, but fits perfectly. It is super comfortable. Super warm, so it is perfect after a cold day to warm up the body and take out the moisture. Stops the wind and keeps the body warm. I really like it for second layer or for the last layer if is a cold day not raining or snow day. Zippers are always well made with North Face. I am using this jacket for almost a year and every time I like it more. Full review
