UCO Original Candle Lantern

Packs down fairly small, not too heavy, great option for any camper, if you have young children you will need to teach them not to play with this lantern. Overall I think this is still a good candle lantern. I have an original that was made in the U.S.A. that I've owned for 7 years and this review is for the new one I bought last year that is made in China. Sadly all of the UCO lanterns are made in China now and the quality is just not what it was. Also I think these lanterns are overpriced for… Full review

Primus EasyLight

Does what it's supposed to, doesn't require a rocket science degree to use, and doesn't create excessive fire hazard when used safely. My only regret is that there are only five stars to click. Personally, I would give this product 60 stars. I knew it would be a great product, but it outshone my expectations. It easily lights up a medium-sized living room, no squinting of the eyes. My favorite aspect is that it's not the kind of product that you're worried about coming "unscrewed" if you accidentally… Full review

Coleman Premium Dual Fuel Lantern

One lantern to rule them all!   Don't like propane or constant battery failure? Neither do I. So I bought this lantern. If you enjoy camping with the family frequently, this lantern is the long haul one to own. I've broken tons of battery lamps, flashlights, and headlamps over the years, yet this lantern continues to be almost bomb proof. Some variation of this lantern has probably been around for 60 plus years. We have put this lantern through the paces for about 8 years now. I can attest that… Full review

Coleman Northern Nova

I have two Northern Nova Lanterns, I could not find mantles that would stay together. I called Coleman and they did not have mantles or solutions to fix the problems so they sent me another lantern? I ordered my lantern the Northern Nova that produces (supposedly) 3,000 Lumens. Very Bright. The mantles you buy are Coleman Tube style Clip-On mantles that start with a gap in the clip that flames shoot out of. NOT GOOD right off the bat. While after you install them all fluffy and put a match to them… Full review

UCO Original Candle Lantern

I recently was informed of how great this candle lantern was and purchased two! Super happy with this purchase. It adds another level to my camping lighting options.   small, compact The inside candle holder.   The lantern extended   Chain and hanger making it easy to hang or carry. Again, watch out for hot top and glass after using.   Full review

Coleman Northern Nova

Your left, your left, your left right left. Company Halt ...Yep, you are in the Army now. Introducing the Coleman Northern Nova Propane Lantern, the official lantern of the National Park Foundation. The Coleman Northern Nova Propane Lantern is the tank of propane lanterns. This lantern is built to last and take a beating like no other. Unlike other typical propane lanterns that will offer something in the 150-350 lumen range or higher end lanterns that reach 1000 lumens, the Coleman Northern Nova… Full review

Ozark Trail Propane Lantern

When we used the lantern the first time the mantles burned up and we had to buy another set. Terrible. The globe broke the second trip and we decided to buy a Coleman. We couldn’t buy a replacement globe at Walmart. Same as above Full review

Coleman Powerhouse Dual Fuel Lantern

If you understand how to operate any Coleman pump style stove or lantern you will have no problem operating this lantern. And the potential for saving money on fuel is substantial. I highly recomend it. When I first received my new lantern I tested it out at home using unleaded automotive fuel. Mantle setup and pumping are just like all other Coleman lanterns regardless of vintage. To light, I set the valve at low to ignite the mantles and allowed the generator to warm for around 20 seconds. (If… Full review

Ozark Trail Propane Lantern

Great light! Just as good as a Coleman and really satisfied with it, but disturbed the globe isn't better. Wish I could find a globe. Mine broke first time I used it from heat. Great light and would recommend it. Bright and wide beam, but wish I could find parts. Full review
