Lawson Hammock Blue Ridge Camping Hammock

rated 4 of 5 stars Very good. I love this hammock. Not light and bulky to carry, but very comfortable. I love this hammock. It allows me to have a flat lay which allows me to sleep on my side. The only drawback is that it is very heavy and bulky compared to other camping hammocks. Full review

REI Quarter Dome Air Hammock

rated 4.5 of 5 stars After spending several years in parachute double hammocks, the Quarter Dome Air feels like a trip to the Holiday Inn. The REI Quarter Dome Air Hammock is an answer to a question that I’ve had for years; “Why doesn’t someone make a lightweight hammock with an integrated bug net, plenty of sprawl room, and completely weatherproof?” Setup: The hammock has some interesting technology with draw cords that might intimidate the first-time user at opening glance, however, the entire system is a… Full review

L.L.Bean Camping Hammock

rated 5 of 5 stars L.L. Bean's Camping Hammock is one of my favorite pieces of gear. The ease of setup, combined with the silky fabric and extra space makes it a really nice product to have while you're lounging around outside. With growing interest in the outdoors, navigating the world of hammocks can be pretty tricky. If you’re new to the backcountry or if you’ve been camping since you were a toddler, gear can become incredible overwhelming.  But L.L. Bean's Camping Hammock does a great job of making "hanging"… Full review

Merkapa XL Double Parachute Nylon Hammock

rated 5 of 5 stars This generic hammock and bug net is all an ENO is at a fraction of the cost. Found it on Ebay and along with the generic Hammock Mosquito Net By Advanced Portable I paid under $30 total for both including biners and tree straps. I could have bought a tarp a bit cheaper, but opted for a Hennessey Hammock Hex Asym for $65. Total complete under a C note and a bit over 4 lbs. trail weight. A full setup from ENO would have cost $250 and it's all made in China to help the fat get fatter at ENO and other… Full review

Clark TX-270

rated 3.5 of 5 stars Mosquito proof, solid construction, a bit fiddley. The Winnebago of hammocks. I got this when my wife discovered how comfortable she was in my Clark's Ultralight (I don't think they sell that model any more), and we decided that when we camped together, we should not be on the ground. I got this model because my Clark's Ultralight has always seemed small for me, and because we are thinking more about bike touring and less about backpacking, so the weight and bulk matter less. Overall, I'm very happy… Full review

Clark North American

rated 5 of 5 stars The best product I ever owned. And just the best of all methods of camping, in general. I came here mainly to tell that this kind of product — I mean: the principle of the tent-hammock in general (and particularly the Clark, of course, which is in the matter the summit of quality) — is the best thing I ever encountered in all my life of wilderness camper. And I can assure you that I have encountered also, often, the worse... :) My comrades and me, at blue-penguin.org, are owning a slightly different… Full review

Tribe Provisions Adventure Hammock

rated 4 of 5 stars The Tribe Provisions Hammock is a comfortable, lightweight, durable hammock that offers great value for the average person. The Tribe Provisions Hammock is a comfortable, lightweight, durable hammock that offers great value for the average person. The hammock system that I purchased on Amazon came with a hammock, two cords, and two carabiners. Everything packs neatly into the attached storage bag. I don't use the cords and carabiners, but rather I purchased a different strap system to hang my hammock… Full review

Warbonnet RidgeRunner

rated 5 of 5 stars A True Flat-Lie Hammock System. I have spent decades looking for a perfect camping hammock, ordered my first "jungle hammock" from an ad in the back of a comic book. A disaster of course. Tried the mesh cargo net types in the '70s. Bought an original Hennessy. This one is the real deal.  I'd second all the features mentioned by other reviewers. The mosquito netting is easy to use. The side pockets are roomy and make it easy to keep your nightly needs organized. There is also a shallow pocket at… Full review

Grand Trunk Skeeter Beeter Pro

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Very good hammock. Best symmetrical hammock of its class. I would have given it 5 stars, but I don't like the stock suspension. See below for details. I'm 6' 2" and 220 lbs. I can sleep ultra comfy in it. It's super durable. By durable, I mean getting wasted in the woods with my friends and manhandling it in the dark many times over two years. It's been dripping in sweat from muggy Florida nights and it's had condensation freeze on the bug net from cold nights. I made some mods to it but the hammock… Full review
