Columbia Titanium Pants

Good looking but basic.   Columbia's Titanium line (now Titan) is supposed to be the top of the line series, but from my experience this pair is a basic fly with button with no membrane or any reinforcements in key areas. Don't get me wrong, I love these pants and that's why I've been using them for five years give or take.   I bought this 32 inches width and 30 inches height, which is the short leg variation, and it fits great for my 5' 7" frame. The fabric is mainly polyester with a low percentage… Full review

Kühl Rydr Pant

Liked them, until I washed them. Liked them, until I washed them. Dye came out uneven, and now they look heavily wrinkled. Pretty disappointing for what they cost. Tag said they where machine washable. Material did feel stiff when new, as well as after being washed. They felt larger than what the size said compared to the same size in other brands. Probably won't buy again.  Full review

Wrangler All Terrain Gear Synthetic Utility Pant

This is a good budget hiking pant for those who like the look of jeans. The pants are stretchy and comfortable, but not breathable or durable. They have good pockets and an otherwise simple feature set. I would likely recommend this to a friend. These pants are a budget option from Wrangler, who are more known for their jeans. These pants look like jeans, and I wear them when I don't want to wear anything super "hiker" for social reasons. Front view of Pants They are designed for hiking though,… Full review

namuk Dash lightweight ripstop pant

A pair of pants that can handle the wears and tears of a toddler. Great for outdoor families needing sturdy apparel. Testing Conditions: My daughter has worn these pants for 6 months, from late spring to early autumn. She’s worn them on camping trips, at the playground, and countless times while playing in the backyard. She’s certainly got them dirty and abused them as well as any toddler can. During testing, my daughter turned 2 years old and wore size 12-24 months.  Camping trip with the… Full review

DUER Performance Denim Skinny

High quality, craftsmanship, and performance in something that both looks and feels good. I have the Dish Weekender by DUER for women in washed and in rinse colors. Both have superb fit and function on a bike with extra material for resisting saddle rub with a gusseted crotch and reflective leg panels. I love how mobile I can be riding in them. Glad I had two pairs; they have not made them since 2018 despite my begging they bring them back. I also have the Performance Denim for women, which are… Full review

Eddie Bauer Guide Pro Lined Pants

Crazy comfortable, well-built, and an easy trail-to-town transition. I've never worn Eddie Bauer before but last fall I was looking for a pair of warmer hiking pants that would be both solid on the trail and not so "techy" that I couldn't wear around town in the winter. The Guide Pro Insulated checked the boxes and I'm stoked that I made the choice. The Guide Pro hiking pants are pretty well known and the only difference here is the polyester fleece lining. Super soft against the skin and does a… Full review

Kühl Rydr Pant

Carhartt alternative that satisfies, but requires special care. Launder COLD with extreme caution and NEVER put in the dryer. If you care for your jeans like you care for your expensive gear, these may be for you. Waist fits small. Consider going up 1-2 sizes in the waist. I’m always looking for options when my Carhartts are too heavy but my jeans are too unforgiving. These fit the bill. Kuhl’s retro urban design is packed with thoughtful details, justifying the price, and these trousers have… Full review

Gramicci Original G-Pants

A stylish and versatile product, when introduced. How has the passage of time impacted that reputation? They're still pretty good...but what is their primary function? I bought my first pair of Gramiccis from REI, in Fremont, around 2005. They still made them, without a zipper, in Oxnard, Calf. The gusseted crotch was innovative and allowed climbers room to bend and stretch, in ways that slimmer fitting cotton pants couldn't provide. Waist adjustment was via a partially concealed webbing belt: maximum… Full review

Eddie Bauer Mountain Pants

Great pants with the extra pocket for your wallet and helps you from getting back aches. Good material. Not for hot sweaty days, but you should wear shorts or jeans then. Full review
