Klymit Pillow X Large

Pillow does not hold air. Not good for long distance backpacking. I did due diligence in reviewing this pillow. The other pillow I have had for my long distance backpacking trips is great, but not large enough. I decided to purchase this Klymit X Large Pillow for an eight-day backpacking trip. It arrived within four days. I immediately took it out of the package and proceeded to blow it up. It took four breaths to blow up. It held the air for a couple minutes, so I thought it was good and deflated. Full review

ALPS Mountaineering Versa Pillow

Super small, light, and comfortable This is by far the best pillow yet. Packs down to the size of an apple. Put just enough air in for comfort, the plush surface is wonderful to sleep on. This is my new go-to pillow, Nice job, ALPS!  Looks like it will hold up well, ALPS has a great warranty and stands behind their products. Been camping with this two times, looking forward to many years of service. Full review

NEMO Fillo Elite Ultralite

Excellent, super light pillow. Excellent, super light pillow. Designed to fit into the head sleeve of my Nemo Disco bag. Pretty comfortable for me as I don't require a ton of head support. Inflates and retains air well. So far, very pleased. Full review

Klymit Pillow X

This pillow is not comfortable for me. Although the Pillow X is well constructed and easy to use, the X-shape creates an uncomfortable sleeping surface that can create noise when you move around at night. To make matters worse, the material itself is noisy and uncomfortable. The trouble I have with inflatable pillows is like the trouble I have with inflatable air pads like the Therm-a-Rest NeoAir and Klymit's own Static V. Klymit Pillow X

Lightweight. Deflates to almost nothing. I am a hammock camper. I got one of these several years ago on Mass Drop. Have never been happy with with the other pillows I have gotten as the down pillows compress to almost nothing and offer no support and the synthetic fill pillows while offering support do not compress enough, taking up valuable space in my pack. Klymit Pillow X

Love this pillow. Cradles your head, so comfortable. Easy to blow up and deflate. Packs down so small. I received this pillow bundled with a Klymit insulated mat I purchased. I was pleasantly surprised. The X design is perfect as the middle of the pillow forms an indentation for the occipital part of your head. The edges of the pillow can easily be adjusted to your desired thickness by adding or subtracting air. If you sleep on your side just put your head on an edge or fold the pillow in half. Full review

Sea to Summit Aeros Premium Deluxe Pillow
