Teva Women's Tirra

rated 5 of 5 stars Lightweight sandal with three points of adjustment. Perfect for walking, hiking, or kayaking. I've worn these sandals for five years and am about to purchase my third pair. These are quite possibly the perfect hiking sandal out there. They are super adjustable, very comfortable, have great traction, have a rubber bottom (cloth underfoot will eventually wear away!), will stay on your foot no matter what, and are fairly good looking for such an industrial shoe.  I've worn this style from Teva for… Full review

Keen Men's Uneek

rated 1.5 of 5 stars I had similar issues with these sandals last summer. I've barely worn them since. My biggest issue is the blisters caused by the cordage that makes contact with the skin. Fashion faux pas or not...the only way that I can wear these things now is with socks, then, they are "Okay". Seemed like a good idea when I saw them online. The "shock-cordage" that makes up the 'body' is brutal on bare skin. Full review

Keen Men's Uneek

rated 0.5 of 5 stars Bought a pair wore them 3 times a have them away. Parachord is ment to be on a persons foot caused blisters and burns on feet. If your feet get wet from sweat or crossing a stream these aren’t the shoes to have on. will not recommend for anyone but a couch potato. The guy I gave mine to has since given them to someone else. Chaco Men's Z/Volv 2 Sandal

rated 5 of 5 stars Chaco improved everything I didn't like about the ones I had in 2002. I've worn these for six months each of the last two years and they're the first footwear I go to if it's the high 50s and warmer. That's because they're so comfortable and my feet can breathe. I had two pair of the same in the early 2000s and they sucked. Those were painful to wear due to the self-tightening of the big toe strap to the point of cutting off circulation causing pain. Add to that whatever the material was that made… Full review

Keen Men's Uneek

rated 3 of 5 stars Nice fashion sandal for light use. I bought five pairs of these, one for myself and the others as gifts. Of the five, I've had to return or exchange three of them because of qc issues. One of them had poorly molded soles which meant there were grooves or little holes along the side of the midsole that were quite noticeable. When I tried to return that pair, I noticed the same thing on the replacement and had to ask for a third one. The next one had spots all over the upper from the adhesive, probably… Full review

Teva Men's Hurricane XLT

rated 5 of 5 stars These are hardcore. I absolutely love these. They have just the right amount of firmness and cushioning for me. The soles are grippy on all outdoor terrain as well as manmade surfaces like concrete and tile. The straps provide for excellent fit, you can loosen them for casual walking and tighten them up for more strenuous activities. They are also great if you wear ankle supports regularly like I do. I have a pair that I bought in 2013, I've taken them to Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam (twice), Myanmar… Full review

OOFOS OOahh Sport Slide Sandal

rated 5 of 5 stars Super soft! As a member of another website, I am sometimes given products to test in exchange for a review. At Houston Mesa, I got to test out some OOFOS OOahh Sport Slide Sandals. These sandals are SO SOFT and SQUISHY! They claim to absorb 37% more than other foam type shoes, and I sure believe it. They are incredible soft and take a lot of pressure off my feet. I chose the slip-on ones because I like to wear socks with my sandals (haha) especially while camping. Going in and out of the tent I… Full review

Luna Sandals Origen 2.0

rated 5 of 5 stars Great trail running and hiking sandals with long lasting materials and attention to detail in manufacture. One of the few chances to buy stuff not made in China...Made in USA. The Luna Origen is an odd mix in that its a progression in the Luna stable but also a look back to the sandal brand's beginnings.   The short version is that a Chap called Christopher McDougall goes on a discovery which through process he "discovers" a bunch of Mexican Natives who use running as a pillar of their life. This… Full review

Xero Shoes DIY 4mm Kit

rated 4.5 of 5 stars It's a kit. You make it and then you have the skinniest sandals you can get. Simple really... Basically you get a thin sole unit 4mm in this case and a 6mm if you want the heavier version.  You also get a set of cords and a hole punch. That's the kit. Following the instructions online or in the kit you measure your foot. Punch holes for the laces and assemble your own sandals, cutting off any excess sole rubber (they come in size bands and you cut to your specific fit). They are surprisingly good… Full review
