Wild Zora Summit Savory Chicken

We are avid backpackers and this was a great meal. Not only is the food great, the package is lightweight and easy to store. Wild Zora has great products. The food is delicious and healthy. We backpack for several days at a time and Wild Zora is the way to go backpacking. We saved space and weight with the products. After a long day of walking these meals hit the spot. Full review

CampFare Beef Burgundy with Field Vegetables

I occasionally get to test out meals and new gear in our own camping environment. I was asked to review Campfare meals. There were three of us and we brought out three Campfare meals  to eat for one night and ended up using all of these meals in conjunction with each other in order to have a rounded meal (and due to amounts of food in the packaging). This "stew" has great well rounded flavor and is jam packed with veggies and beef. It is definitely our favorite out of the three we tried. The soup… Full review

CampFare Beef Burgundy with Field Vegetables

The beauty of these types of heat-and-serve meals is they're perfect for backcountry excursions, boat trips, car camping, and RV life. All you need is water, a heat source, and a pan or pot large enough to heat the small pouch. Highly recommend this product. First off, these meals taste great. Even if we're away from home and our stocked kitchens, we still want food that is tasty, flavorful, and hot or cold, as the case may be. Specific to this Beef Burgandy with Field Vegetables meal, the burgandy… Full review

Wild Zora Summit Savory Chicken

This meal is especially great for camping or for a quick easily prepared meal while on the go. Just add boiling water and wait 10-15 minutes and boom it’s ready. It made for a great meal on my trip. Looking forward to trying their breakfast meals. Will be buying from Wild Zora again soon! Full review

CampFare Chicken Tikka Masala with French Green Lentils

Quicker and way more tasty than dehydrated meals! CampFare's Chicken Tikka Masala is Indian Restaurant good. No joke, it was delicious. It was a chilli like consistency and would be best to eat out of the pouch or in a bowl with a spoon, not spread out across a plate. I was camping with a camp stove and a smaller sauce pan to heat water, not backpacking with my JetBoil. The package is on the larger size so you will need a JetBoil pot large enough to submerge most of the pouch.  Super easy to prepare. Full review

CampFare Wild Alaskan Salmon

Great substitution for freeze-dried meals. Great for backpacking, or even in case of emergency. Easy to prep and not a lot of cleanup. I decided to pair this salmon with the brown rice and quinoa packet from Camp Fare. I'm a bigger guy and need a little more to keep me going. The salmon tasted good and was a decent portion, and with the rice, it was just enough. My only issue was, I tried to heat both packets simultaneously in almost boiling water for 4 min. instead of the recommended 2-3. I was… Full review

CampFare Beef Burgundy with Field Vegetables

This is a hearty dish that will surely please a very hungry hiker, even more so if served over rice, potatoes, or other grain options. This is one super easy meal to prepare that is wonderfully tasty! Advertised as a gourmet alternative to camp fare, it sounded like a great option for my backpacking trip. I really like that it was boil in bag—easy cooking and easy clean up.I did have to heat a bit longer to get to my desired temperature to eat. Once the package was opened I had three other campers… Full review

CampFare Brown Rice and Red Quinoa

Great for tacos!! I went camping with my husband and kiddo in Colorado and was excited to try some of these! We are avid backpackers and I thought the idea of these only having to be warmed was genius!!! I hate having to sit and watch noodles or rice boil. We used these as a taco filler and I will admit after a long day of hiking, there was no way near enough for the three of us in one package. Definitely a 1-pack to 1-person ratio. Also, if you are backpacking and in need of high calorie food,… Full review

CampFare Wild Alaskan Salmon

This meal has lots of spice and smoked flavor. CampFare Wild Alaskan Salmon $12.99 My family recently had the opportunity to try some meals from Camp Fare while we were camping at Oak Hollow campground in North Carolina. We’re always looking for meals that are tasty and quick to prepare. They’re not freeze-dried, fairly lightweight and shelf stable for 5 years. We spend much of our time outdoors each season and when we heard about the premium meals from Camp Fare we were eager to try them out. Full review
