Nalgene 32oz Wide Mouth Ultralite HDPE Bottle

Light weight. Recyclable. Perfect size.   Triple threat system! I concur with the previous reviewer. Thought I'd add my system. I use the Aquamira Red Line for right from the stream water. I fill the Nalgene for on the trail refill of Aquamira and also for cooking. Make sure you boil it long enough. Nalgene is just the right amount for the MSR Windburner. I've got a second Nalgene for more capacity. Only thing is the Nalgene doesn't fit with all backpacks (shame on them). But it does shove into… Full review

Nalgene 32oz Wide Mouth Ultralite HDPE Bottle

A wide mouth Nalgene at 3.8 ounces (instead 6 oz. for the regular, transparent ones). It's hard not to like this for backpacking. This is Nalgene's lightweight bottle offering, and it is much lighter than the regular, see-through Nalgene bottles we are all used to. Mine weighs 3.75 ounces, which is significantly lighter than my other Nalgene bottles that come in at 6 ounces. The weight savings are due to it being made of a different material. The material is not fully transparent but it is easy… Full review

Nalgene 32oz Oasis Bottle

The Nalgene Oasis is too expensive at $16. They used to be like $8 a year ago. First they disappeared for 2 years, they said it was supply chain issues. Now they restock them at twice the price. Sounds like a little market manipulation....sad. Anyway, for slightly over what they a charging now you could get a pretty nice brand name stainless steel bottle. Full review

Hydro Flask 40 oz Wide Mouth

Kinda wish I wouldn’t have spent $50 on it. I like it, but it doesn’t keep water cold unless you have ice. Which I hate, because why am I spending so much when I should’ve just purchased a regular bottle. Too late to return it, nothing I can do about it I know. I’m just telling people so they know before purchasing. If you drop it and it’s a far drop on accident on hard floor, street, rocks (hiking), etc. there will be 97% chance that there’s a dent in it. Sometimes big, sometimes little,… Full review

Wondery Parks of the USA Bucket List Water Bottle

Have you ever found yourself wondering how many National Parks you’ve visited? With 424 national park sites, and 63 national parks, it can be challenging to track them all unless you have the Wondery Parks of the USA Water Bottle. The Wondery Parks of the USA Water Bottle features small laser engraved images of all 63 national parks. And it comes with a series of stickers that you match to the engravings on the water bottle once you've made it to the corresponding park. It basically serves as… Full review

Nalgene 32 oz Narrow Mouth Tritan

This is a simple, durable, relatively lightweight bottle. Among rigid plastic bottles, this is one of the best. The narrow mouth makes it easier to drink from but harder to fill. If you want a rigid, transparent bottle, this is the one to get. It is strong, light, and fits into most bottle pockets. I would recommend this to almost anyone. This bottle has been "discontinued", but they really just added 50% recycled plastic and called it a new bottle (Nalgene Sustain). Ease of Use: Intuitive to use. Full review

Klean Kanteen 27oz Classic

A durable steel bottle, with some ecological merits, a choice of lids and available in a selection of attractive colours. I bought this bottle eight years ago. It generally lives in my car, with the sport cap attached. I also have a loop-top leakproof cap, but never take the bottle backpacking, so never use that cap. I like the choice of colours. The paint isn't very durable—and would be a real mess if heated on the stove (buy the unpainted version, if you plan to take this product on a serious… Full review

SIGG Traveller Water Bottle

Another industry standard, before... Tried, tested—and probably outmoded. Before they made drink containers, Sigg were a market leader in fuel carriers.  The leakproof qualities were revelatory, when many people would carry Coleman fuel in the purchase tin, methylated spirits in a thin plastic bottle and kerosene, in whatever old can was available.  Leaky, smelly, and flammable backpacks were a not-uncommon sight, which meant that Sigg bottles were eagerly adopted in the UK when they became… Full review
