Tentsile UNA 1-Person Hammock Tent
I had great hopes for this unique tent. When Tentsile first started making tents I was always intrigued. It looks like a great concept and solves some of the problems of a traditional hammock for people who can’t sleep well in a hammock position. In practice, however, the Tentsile UNA is very limited in its use, it is too heavy for backpacking, and cumbersome to set up. It is relatively comfortable, but as a 6'5" man, it was somewhat cramped. Setup The setup requires three trees of roughly equal… Full review

Tentsile UNA 1-Person Hammock Tent
A comfortable sleeping experience that allows you a unique way to connect with where you are camping. However, you need to be sure you have the right orientation of trees in order to make it tight and flat. I tried out the Una for two nights while camping in Northern California in July. I chose three redwood trees for the base. Although not perfectly lined up to the tabs on the side (for visual reference), they were wide enough to make minor adjustments. Having never set up the tent before,… Full review

Tentsile T-Mini Double Hammock
Perfect for a day trip with a friend. The T-Mini 2-Person Double Hammock is a fun hammock to take on a group camping trip. Its wide, flat surface invites your friends to climb aboard and relax with you, and the webbing reinforcement ensures that you don't roll or slide into each other. Oddly enough, hanging instructions aren't included with the hammock and it's not totally easy to find the correct version (or generation) of your hammock on Tentsile's product manual page. The YouTube video I found… Full review

Tentsile Connect 2-Person Tree Tent
Suspended tree tent that support 1-2 people. Heavy durable bottom and heavy duty straps and ratchets. It has an adjustable strap that can make it a two-person or a one-person undisturbed sleep. Easy to install rain fly that's designed to hug under the tent to keep rain spray out. I really love camping but ground sleeping left me sore and very tired the next day, so I upgraded to a hammock, which was fantastic. I woke up refreshed and comfortable. Only drawback is my life partner couldn't sleep in… Full review

REI Quarter Dome Air Hammock
After spending several years in parachute double hammocks, the Quarter Dome Air feels like a trip to the Holiday Inn. The REI Quarter Dome Air Hammock is an answer to a question that I’ve had for years; “Why doesn’t someone make a lightweight hammock with an integrated bug net, plenty of sprawl room, and completely weatherproof?” Setup: The hammock has some interesting technology with draw cords that might intimidate the first-time user at opening glance, however, the entire system is a… Full review

L.L.Bean Camping Hammock
L.L. Bean's Camping Hammock is one of my favorite pieces of gear. The ease of setup, combined with the silky fabric and extra space makes it a really nice product to have while you're lounging around outside. With growing interest in the outdoors, navigating the world of hammocks can be pretty tricky. If you’re new to the backcountry or if you’ve been camping since you were a toddler, gear can become incredible overwhelming. But L.L. Bean's Camping Hammock does a great job of making "hanging"… Full review
