Win an Elie Kayak by Reviewing Your Outdoor Gear

Want a kayak?

Then review your outdoor gear on Trailspace. We're giving away a Strait 120 XE day touring kayak from Elie Sport and a Lavika paddle to one Trailspace member this month.

Tell us in a review how your well-used outdoor gear performs. Whether reviewing your shelter or shell, crampons or cams, you're automatically entered to win this paddling package worth more than $1,000.

More than 100 gear reviews have been shared already. How about yours?

To Enter:

  • Write a review now through Thursday, July 30, of your own field-tested outdoor gear, apparel, or footwear. Every complete (150 words minimum), qualifying review counts as an entry and helps other outdoor enthusiasts find the best gear.
  • You're entered! On Friday, July 31, we'll randomly draw one eligible gear reviewer to win this paddling prize package.
  • We'll also throw in a Trailspace Trail Runner Cap to wear on your outdoor adventures.

The Prizes:

One lucky Trailspace member will win an Elie Strait 120 XE day touring kayak ($1,000 value) and a Lavika Sport kayak paddle ($100 value).

Great for smaller paddlers, women, or those who want a little more maneuverability, the Strait 120 XE touring kayak includes a Fluid Steering System rudder, watertight bow and stern bulkheads, easy-access quick lock hatch, adjustable footrests, and Ergoflex Seating System.

Review your gear to win, then share your review on FacebookTwitter, or Google+ tagging @Trailspace.

Restrictions: While we love our Trailspace members far and wide, due to shipping expenses this contest is restricted to residents of the continental United States.

If say, a Canadian with relatives in the continental US were to win, would shipping the prize to them be an option?

This is clearly a hypothetical question! ;)

I have to think about this, but I think if we draw a non-US resident we could ask if they have a US shipping address.
