Tribe Provisions Hammock

rated 4 of 5 stars The Tribe Provisions Hammock is a comfortable, lightweight, durable hammock that offers great value for the average person. The Tribe Provisions Hammock is a comfortable, lightweight, durable hammock that offers great value for the average person. The hammock system that I purchased on Amazon came with a hammock, two cords and two carabiners. Everything packs neatly into the attached storage bag. I don't use the cords and carabiners, but rather I purchased a different strap system to hang my hammock… Full review

Warbonnet RidgeRunner

rated 5 of 5 stars A True Flat-Lie Hammock System. I have spent decades looking for a perfect camping hammock, ordered my first "jungle hammock" from an ad in the back of a comic book. A disaster of course. Tried the mesh cargo net types in the '70s. Bought an original Hennessy. This one is the real deal.  I'd second all the features mentioned by other reviewers. The mosquito netting is easy to use. The side pockets are roomy and make it easy to keep your nightly needs organized. There is also a shallow pocket at… Full review

Grand Trunk Skeeter Beeter Pro

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Very good hammock. Best symmetrical hammock of its class. I would have given it 5 stars, but I don't like the stock suspension. See below for details. I'm 6' 2" and 220 lbs. I can sleep ultra comfy in it. It's super durable. By durable, I mean getting wasted in the woods with my friends and manhandling it in the dark many times over two years. It's been dripping in sweat from muggy Florida nights and it's had condensation freeze on the bug net from cold nights. I made some mods to it but the hammock… Full review

Tentsile Connect 2P Tree Tent

rated 5 of 5 stars Next level of tent camping! Roomy and comfortable once you get the hang of setting it up. On the ground or treetop and wherever in between. I received a Tentsile gift certificate as a reviewer on another website. I added some of my own cash and purchased the Tentsile Connect for its larger size (two-person or one adult and three dogs in my case ). I have used it over the last summer in several different campsites. The first thing I noticed is the quality of the product. The bottom is heavy duty… Full review

Equip Mosquito Hammock

rated 4 of 5 stars An economical hammock setup for those not willing to spend a fortune on a hammock. Tough material and a well made mosquito net make this hammock an amazing value in my opinion. After camping in a tent and sleeping on the ground for years, I finally broke down and bought a hammock. Turns out it was the best decision I ever made. I have since slept in a couple different hammocks including the expensive, high end hammocks. I found this hammock at Walmart for $40 and decided to pick one up. After using… Full review

Eagles Nest Outfitters DoubleNest

rated 4 of 5 stars Easy to use, comfortable hammock. Received as a gift two years ago. In addition I own the Atlas strap system for simple and quick connection. Disclaimer—I have yet to use this as a sleeping option (save for naps). I enjoy taking it while backpacking as restful seating option at camp, but prefer the tent for bug/rain protection. Have not owned or used the meshing or tarp in conjunction. Haven't embraced cowboy camping as of yet. I'm a bigger guy (6'3" 200 lbs), so two people lying inside is a bit… Full review

Hennessy Hammock Explorer Ultralight Asym Zip

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Comfy centerpiece of a four-season hammock rig. I have had this hammock for about five years now and have spent many (50? 60?) nights in it. The most impressive feature is the durability of the stitching and the zipper on the bug netting. When you enter this style of hammock, with the integrated zippered bug net, there is stress put on both the zipper and the stitching connecting the zipper to the hammock fabric. However, I've never had an issue with them failing. When you lie slightly sideways,… Full review

BOS Hammocks Single Camping Hammock

rated 5 of 5 stars Well-made hammock. Easy to set up and comfortable to sleep in. After using another hammock I bought back in 2014 I decided it was time to upgrade a bit. I found this hammock online for $23.99. I already have a pair of tree straps, but you could use a thick rope to wrap around a tree (just protect the bark, Leave No Trace style). The tree straps are about 12 feet long and have a multiple loops on either for an adjustable hang. This makes it rather simple to set up the hammock and easy to adjust if… Full review

HackedPack v.1.1

rated 3 of 5 stars HackedPack’s Hammock Backpack is a combination hammock and backpack. HackedPack’s durable nylon backpacks include lots of pockets. I've used this on a few light weekend outings. It's OK if you have a small sleeping bag you want to use with the hammock. If you strap on the outside it works. A 25L capacity. There a nice hip belt and the packed weighted down rides fine on your back. Nice huge parachute nylon hammocks are triple-stitched to hold up to 500 lbs, aluminum gate clips are rated to 20… Full review
